Lesson of today: treat your waiter nice

Interesting article in USA Today about how some CEO's look at the way some of their employees treat waiters to have a good inside look into their character. People who treat the CEO with the utmost respect will turn vile towards waiters, cleaners or other people who they deem "beneath" them, thus revealing their true nature. Knowing someone who's been in the receiving part of that kind of behavior (he even blogs about it once or twice), this turns out to happen daily.

There's real truth in it, so I leave you with the words of J.K. Rowling from the book "Goblet of Fire", spoken by the character Sirius Black:

"If you want to know what a man's like, take a good look at how he treats his inferiors, not his equals."

We'll see just how inferior I am when I just pissed in someone's Manhattan or Daquiri. ;-)
